Food Branding: Green Chefs' Magic Monkey

Background

Green Chefs came to us with simply a name and a product and commissioned us to create a brand identity and packaging graphics aimed initially for the London and south east England market.

We understood this to be a crowded market - Pom Wonderful, Pomegreat etc - all concentrates and not necessarily organic. With limited budgets available and the need to use a proprietary bottle, a key component would be differentiation and shelf presence through surface graphics.

Solution

Creating the identity our highly original visual identity maximises the quirky name with both logo and typography uniquely designed.

Developing the Brand

Positioning Magic Monkey as ‘The Juice, the Whole Juice and nothing but the Juice’ plays on the product’s purity and emphasises growing consumer awareness of non-concentrate juices.
