Food Branding: Cream O'Galloway

Challenge

Develop a visually and radically different ‘on shelf’ appeal for a new range of ice creams and frozen smoothies for the UK speciality food market.

Development

Marrying quirky whimsical illustrations to crisp ingredient and product photography combined with simple, clear titling and an ethical ‘made fair’ message differentiate this new range from the competition.

Galloway Organic

Background

Having designed Cream O’Galloway’s original core range of Ice Creams and Frozen Yoghurts they asked us to develop a sub brand for a new organic product for launch in London and the SE of England.  The direction should be primarily indulgent and luxury rather than a ‘green organic’ look and aimed at adult consumption.

Solution / Conclusion

The identity and packaging won a prestigious New York Festivals award, but more importantly, the bold distinctive look helped to quickly establish the range with maximum freezer standout.
